life force energy. Reiki is not a
religion but rather a method of natural
healing based on the application of the
Universal Life Force Energy.
Reiki is ideal for use in animals as it
is a gentle, noninvasive holistic energy
healing system that yields powerful
results for the body, mind, and spirit.
Animals respond intuitively to Reiki’s
power to heal emotional, behavioral, and
physical illnesses and injuries. For
healthy animals, Reiki can maintain
their health along with providing an
emotional sense of peace and
contentment. For ill animals, Reiki
works safely as a compliment to Western
and Chinese Medicine, Homeopathy, Bach
Flower Essences, and other forms of
healing. For animals whom are dying ,
Reiki is a powerful but gentle way to
provide comfort, relief from pain, fear
and anxiety, and helps to ease the
transition to death.
We as Reiki Practitioners, do not
diagnose, or need to know what the
health issue is. The Reiki energy
creates and supports energetic balance
as a whole for the animal and it adjusts
naturally to the individuals needs.
Reiki is a comprehensive therapy that
addresses the body, mind, and spirit,
going beyond the symptoms to treat the
root of the disease. There is no
manipulation of the energy sent to the
animal beyond setting the intention
through which the Reiki energy can flow
to the animal, if the animal is
accepting. A practitioner cannot send
energy here or there or heal a
particular problem. Reiki will always go
to where it is needed. The practitioner
simply facilitates the energy flow.
Distant Reiki offers the same benefits
as hands on. It is also helpful for
healing family situations that may
involve an animal and helps families to
process an animal’s death. Reiki can
also be sent to heal a traumatic event
in your animal’s past.
